UW Cello Festival presents Cello Choir Concert: 5 p.m., in the University of Wyoming Buchanan Center for Performing Arts concert hall, and Festival Gala Concert, 7:30 p.m., in the BCPA recital hall. Both performances are free and open to the public. The informative and inspiring day of community for cellists of all ages and abilities and features masterclasses, lectures, technique workshops, a special playing class for adult learners, cello choirs, and a viola da gamba “petting zoo," for those interested in playing the consort of these instruments on loan to the festival from the Viola da Society of America.
