Stand Alone for 8/6/19 - "New location, same needs"

Ken Zajac, who has volunteered at Interfaith-Good Samaritan for a couple of years, asks a patron of Interfaith’s food pantry what type of soup they’d prefer during a busy commodities distribution Monday morning. Its first day open to the public in the new space at 712 Canby St., Interfaith’s new building features a larger, more accessible food pantry, with a line already forming as the doors opened. As always, the nonprofit is accepting food donations, especially nonperishable items like peanut butter, canned tuna, rice and boxed meals.
