Happy Heli-ween

Bess Woodhouse, left, and Michela Telford practice unloading equipment from the Medical Air Rescue Company’s new helicopter at the Laramie Regional Airport Wednesday afternoon. Both are registered nurses with MARC, which is training staff with the new helicopter this week. Having previously operated with a fixed-wing aircraft, the life flight company’s new helicopter will now allow them to assist with calls farther outside of Laramie city limits, including search and rescue efforts in the county or in rural areas.
