Giving Thanks(giving meals)

As of Tuesday, more than half of the 300 Thanksgiving food bundles had already been picked up, said Keren Weaver, a staff member with Laramie Interfaith (seen here bringing out a Thanksgiving food bundle). The giveaway started Monday and finishes today. Hours are 10 a.m.-1 p.m., and 4-6 p.m. Large families who signed up are directed to go to First Baptist Church on 1517 E. Canby Street to pick up their Thanksgiving food, while small families are to go to the Interfaith Center at 712 E. Canby St. Weaver said that although 300 packages were prepared for those who signed up, enough food was donated that anyone who didn’t sign up might still be able to acquire a package.
