A Laramie Police Department officer took a report Wednesday of a subject violating the terms of a stalking order of protection, according to an LPD news release.

A Laramie Police Department officer took a report Wednesday of a subject violating the terms of a stalking order of protection, according to an LPD news release.
As a result of the officer’s investigation, 29-year-old Mara Chopping, of Laramie, was arrested and charged with felony stalking.
At this time, Chopping’s bond has not been set and she remains incarcerated at the Albany County Detention Center.
Felony stalking is punishable by imprisonment for up to 10 years.

WEDNESDAY
Joshua Herrington, 42, Rock Springs, was arrested on a warrant.
Mara Chopping, 29, Laramie, was arrested on suspicion of stalking.
Elizabeth Cunningham, 36, Colorado, was arrested on a warrant.

The Laramie Police Department responded to the following calls:
WEDNESDAY
1:39 p.m., 800 block of South Third, theft.
8:30 p.m., 1600 block of North Sixth, possible domestic disturbance.
8:31 p.m., Third and Grand, accident.
THURSDAY
9:23 a.m., 1000 block of North McCue, possible assault and battery.
10:12 a.m., 500 block of South Cleveland, burglary.
Municipal Court
In Laramie Municipal Court, Meagan M. Terry, 24, Saratoga, was fined $127 for expired plates.
Brandin M. Johnson, 41, Laramie, was fined $435 for failure to maintain insurance and $125 for expired plates.
Zachary Sparks-Epidendio, 23, Laramie, was fined $730 for shoplifting.
Nathaniel L. Hall, 24 at the time of the offense, Laramie, was fined $335 for public intoxication.
Jeremy A. Dalton, 30, Laramie, was fined $885, with a sentence of 90 days in jail (89 days suspended), for driving under the influence. The offense occurred Dec. 24.
Chase R. Bruner, 23, Laramie, was fined $125 for expired plates.
Erin J. Bush, 40, Laramie, was fined $125 for expired plates.
Nathaniel M. Davis, 35, Laramie, was fined $127 for expired plates.
Joey A. Ramirez, 22, Laramie, was fined $435, with a sentence of 10 days in jail (five days suspended), for driving under the influence. The offense occurred Dec. 9.
