graduation 1

Reinette Tendore, University of Wyoming Native American Program advisor, shows examples of how American Indian students can decorate their graduation caps. Standing behind Tendore is her son, Hudda Curry-Herrera, a Laramie High School senior. They were joined for their presentation to Albany County School Board trustees on Wednesday by Angela Jaime, UW American Indian Education Research and Cultural Center program director, who is helping the board develop a policy that could allow cultural expressions with graduation regalia.
