I want to thank Tom Schmit for my introduction to the 10 Communist Party planks adopted by America. Very interesting reading as Mr. Schmit implies that the Constitution enshrines Capitalism, but he offers no proof of that and in fact indicates that he has studied the Communist Manifesto more deeply than the Constitution of the United States of America. “We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” General Welfare is known as Common Good and the founders passed laws based on that Constitutional principle. The Constitution uses the term General Welfare and not Capitalism for good reason as sometimes solutions for America are based on Capitalist ideas and some on the Common Good. Funding good public schools, establishing the US Mail, the public roadways are all part of the General Welfare of the people. In modern times this has included the establishment of Public Water and Wastewater systems to name a few more.

Now, one can argue that the Common Good goes too far and becomes a Targeted Good and this is where disagreements and bloated budgets occur. For instance, Public Schools are a Common Good, but due to Wyoming allowing people to live all over the State and then still requiring the State to educate these far flung students, makes funding these students a Targeted Good. The State of Wyoming could then decide to institute as zoning law where schools are only funded to certain limit around a defined area and base the law on the General Welfare, which maintains quality education at a reasonable price.

The Democrats are fighting against a foreign adversary that has helped install a President that does not believe in the Constitution of the United States and embraces the Ideals of Russia. In Russia there is no Second Amendment and they take ones guns without “due process.” President Trump proposed a very similar approach to gun control and yet you argue that Democrats are Communists?

I never really understood why the left clings so tightly to "General Welfare". It can and has been taken too far. When France passed their 70% tax rate the left rejoiced until it was discovered that when county and city taxes were included the total tax rate exceeded what tax payers made (greater than 100%). Socialism by definition calls for the government controlling the means of production......we have that! Communism is just one step beyond Socialism in that the government controls all. Calling for the government to force people to live in town for education is more in line with Communism in that you are calling for the power to control how people live. The decrease in regulation and taxes has already resulted in the people (average citizen) being able to keep more of their pay and has allowed companies to invest. Even my pension has increased as well as my take home pay....I am not rich and every dollar helps. By increasing production we generate more wealth for all. Please pay attention to the actual releases as to the findings in these investigations (MSNBC etc all have an agenda)....Russia has through social media fanned the flames on both the right and left, they want us to fight....don't buy into it because it is what Russia wants. As far as gun-control.....take notice how these kids were suddenly organized, sudden rush of funds, acquiring all the permits to march, especially in DC. The gun-control organizations and politicians have their own corporations and they are many. Did you notice all the armed body guards Sanders had with him when he met spoke at one of these kids marches?
