The University of Wyoming Art Museum will host Family Saturday Workshop Oct. 7 from 10 a.m.-noon.

Family Saturday Workshop is an open studio, maker space-inspired workshop. It will be led by the Art Museum’s trained teaching artists and educators to help families explore artistic materials and concepts inspired by museum exhibitions. The workshop is free for families and individuals of all ages.

October’s workshop will focus on “Making Masks” in this Halloween-themed event. Participants will explore the “Changing Faces: Traditional and Contemporary Mexican Masks” exhibition. Museum educators will provide templates and materials, and participants will create their own, unique masks.
