Summer Stevenson Howell Perkins

Summer Stevenson Howell Perkins, 42, of Laramie, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at Ivinson Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the United Presbyterian Church, 215 S. 11th St.

A full obituary will be published.

" Summer and I met through my father, and her family and mine grew close quickly. After she broke her back, there was less communication, but we all still smiled in passing. It has been years since I have seen her, and I missed her so much. She was a great spirit, had a full heart, and was a fantastic mother. I am so sorry for Mark's and the kids' loss. I recently moved out of the area and scan the web for news. I am now glad I have, because she was a shining star. She is grandly missed. "
