Notice is hereby given that the State Transportation Commission of Wyoming has accepted as completed according to plans, specifications and rules governing the same work performed under that certain contract between the State of Wyoming, acting through said Commission, and S & S Builders,LLC the contractor on Highway Project Number I805170  in Albany county, consisting of structure repair & miscellaneous work.  Contractor is entitled to final settlement therefore; that the Director of the Department of Transportation will cause said Contractor to be paid the full amount due him under said contract on  December 23, 2014.

Environmental Impact Assessment (EA) of Imperial Heights Park

 

The City of Laramie is seeking qualified firms to perform an Environmental Impact Assessment (EA) of Imperial Height Park in preparation of the development of the Park site.  To view the Request for Qualifications please visit the City of Laramie Parks and Recreation Website at https://www.cityoflaramie.org/PandRprojects. An optional pre-submittal meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2014 at the Laramie Community Recreation Center Large Conference Room, 920 Boulder Dr., Laramie, WY 82070. as such interests appear and as set forth and reserved in that certain Decree of Distribution, filed August 25, 1977, and recorded  as document no. 648031 at Book 263, Page 662 in the Office of the Albany County Clerk and Ex-Officio Register of Deed; and to Decedent's real and personal property in Albany County, Wyoming.

 

That there are no other Devisees having a right to succeed to the property.  Persons having objections to the Application shall file written objection with the Clerk of the District Court, Second Judicial District, Albany County, Wyoming, on or before November 19, 2014.

CORRECTION

The City of Laramie advertised a Public Hearing to be held on November 12, 2014 regarding a proposed application for a Business Ready Community Grant.  The original notice, which follows below, erroneously noted the location of the proposed project as "North Third Street".  The proposed project is instead intended to take place on SOUTH Third Street.  This correction was announced during the Public Hearing on November 12th, 2014.  Council will consider a resolution authorizing the submittal of the proposed application during its regularly scheduled November 18, 2014 meeting and will accept public comments in written form until 5:00 p.m. on that date. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 2015 BUSINESS READY COMMUNITY GRANT AND LOAN PROGRAM APPLICATION FOR BRC PLANNING GRANT PROJECT

 

 

The Wyoming Business Council is seeking grant and loan applications from counties, incorporated cities, towns, joint powers boards, and tribes for the 2015 Business Ready Community (BRC) Grant and Loan Program.  The intent of this program is to ready a community for new business development through economic or educational development projects which may include, but not limited to, water, sewer, streets and roads, telecommunications, airports, purchase of rights of way, purchase of land, buildings, facilities, industrial and business parks, industrial site or business district development, amenities within a business or industrial park, landscaping, recreational and convention facilities, and or other physical projects.

 

The rules governing the BRC Grant and Loan Program are available through the Wyoming Business Council or http://www.wyomingbusiness.org.

 

The City of Laramie intends to submit an application for a BRC PLANNING GRANT, for corridor study and revitalization plan for the North Third Street entrance into Laramie and is seeking citizen input regarding this project.  Those wishing to comment on this project are encouraged to attend a public hearing on this subject on November 12th, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 406 Ivinson Avenue.  Citizens can also submit written comments to: City of Laramie, Attn. Grants Analyst: P.O. Box C/Laramie, WY, 82073 or sreese@cityoflaramie.org or, via hand deliver to the City Manager's Office at 406 Ivinson Avenue.

 

All written comments must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on November 12th, 2014.  The Laramie City Council will take all comments made at the public hearing and written comments submitted on or before the deadline into consideration before considering a resolution in support of submitting an application for a 2015 BRC PLANNING GRANT Award.
