SITE SPECIFIC INVESTIGATION CONSULTANT

INCLUDING PEER REVIEW

 

The City of Laramie is seeking qualified firms to provide written proposals for professional services to complete a study of Site Specific Investigations within the City's Casper Aquifer Protection Overlay Zone for all City Owned Properties. Preference is hereby given to firms based in Wyoming, as provided in W. S. §§ 16-6-101 through 16-6-119. Written, sealed proposals must be submitted to the City Manager's Office, Darren Parkin, Water Resources Specialist, PO Box C, 406 Ivinson, Laramie WY, 82073, no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on January 15, 2015. The City of Laramie seeks to integrate energy efficiency practices into all aspects of day-to-day operations, from capital construction to staff behaviors, to ensure economic and environmental sustainability.  If applicable, the City encourages submissions that 1) enhance to efficiency of City projects and ongoing operations, and/or 2) consider all energy types, including traditional and renewable sources. Copies of the Request for Proposals may be obtained by contacting the City Manager's Office, Darren Parkin, at 307-721-5213. The City reserves the right to award this project to the firm that best fits the requirements outlined in the Request for Proposals. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in any submittal and/or reject all Requests for Proposals, and to accept the Proposal that is in the best interest of the City.

MOTION BY VITALE, seconded by Pearce, that Council approve Original Ordinance No. 1900, on Third and Final Reading, rezoning approximately .22 acres of land located at 1730 Custer Street from R1 (Single-Family Residential) District to R3 (Multi-Family Residential) District, based on findings of fact and conclusions of law; noting a Public Hearing was held on September 23, 2014; and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the Ordinance.  

Roll call showed Aye:  Hanson, Kempert, Pearce, Shumway, Summerville Vitale, Weaver, and Paulekas.  Nays: Henry. Absent: None. MOTION CARRIED.

2.   Adjournment.

MOTION BY HANSON, seconded by Pearce, that Council Adjourn.
