Notice is hereby given that the Trustees of the University of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyoming, hereinafter referred to as the "Owner" will receive sealed proposals in Room 217 Merica Hall, University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY 82071, up to but not later than November 25, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, for award of a contract for Hazardous Materials Abatement Phase 2, Half Acre Gymnasium Addition and Renovation, University of Wyoming. Bids submitted prior to November 25, 2014 will be received in Room 211 Merica Hall, University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY.

Such proposals will be received by the Owner and will be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time. Each proposal must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents. Copies of the Contract Documents are now on file and open to public inspection in the office of the Owner's Project Representative, Mr. Kenneth Jones, Facilities Planning, Dept 3413, 211 Merica Hall, 1000 E. University Ave, Laramie, WY, 82071. The Owner invites lump sum bids as follows and as hereinafter described:

Lump sum bid for providing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to perform all work to complete the project as shown on the Drawings and as outlined in the Specifications. The work includes, but is not limited to, abatement of identified hazardous materials.

The work shall commence upon receipt of a written "Notice to Proceed." Work shall be Substantially Complete by January 30, 2015. Copies of Contract Documents may be obtained from Facilities Planning, Dept 3413, 211 Merica Hall, University of Wyoming, 1000 E. University Ave., Laramie, Wyoming 82071, 307-766-2250.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, executed by the Bidder, as Principal, and a satisfactory surety company, executed in favor of the Owner in the amount of 5% of the maximum amount of the proposal for all bids exceeding one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000.00). Bid Bond shall be accompanied by a certified copy of Power of Attorney. No other form of Bid surety will be accepted.

Preference shall be given to Wyoming contractors, subcontractors, laborers and materials as required by Chapter Six, "Public Property:" of the Wyoming Statutes (W.S. Section 16-6-101, et seq.) Attention is called to the provisions of W.S. Section 16-6-103 with respect to subcontracting by a successful resident bidder and W.S. Section 16-6-203 requiring resident labor on the project.

Proposals must anticipate compliance with the Wyoming Prevailing Wage Act of 1967 (W.S. Section 27-4-401, et seq.) and the prevailing wage rates set forth in the Contract Documents.

The Owner will have the right to retain the bid security of Bidders until either (a) the Contract has been executed and bonds, as required, have been furnished; or (b) the specified time has elapsed so that Bids may be withdrawn; or (c) all Bids have been rejected.

The Owner reserves the privilege of rejecting any or all proposals or waiving any irregularities or informalities in any proposal or in the bidding.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid meeting, including a walk-through will be held on November 18, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time, in the West Lobby, Half Acre Gymnasium, University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY 82071.

Nationstar Mortgage LLC has served a written Notice of Intent to Foreclose the Mortgage by Advertisement and Sale pursuant to the terms of the Mortgage to the record owner or party in possession in accordance with the statute ten (10) days prior to the first publication of the sale.

The amount due and owing on the date of the first publication is $129,475.31 which includes the unpaid principal and accrued but unpaid interest. Interest continues to accrue on the unpaid balance at the rate of $19.16 per day.

The property being foreclosed upon may be subject to other liens and encumbrances that will not be extinguished at the sale and any prospective purchaser should research the status of title before submitting a bid.
