CALL FOR BIDS FOR VEHICLE

 

The Board of Trustees of Albany County School District One will receive marked sealed bids at the Administrative Offices, 1948 Grand Avenue, Laramie, Wyoming 82070 up to the hour of 1:30 p.m. MDT on Thursday, January 29, 2015 for one (1) 2015 2 Door Heavy Duty 1 Ton 4WD Pickup Truck. Bids are to be made based upon ACSD #1 specifications and only on the appropriate bid forms, which can be obtained upon request at the Business Department, (307) 721-4400.  Bids shall be in a sealed envelope marked plainly on the outside "2015 One (1) Heavy Duty 1 ton 4WD Pickup Truck" The Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.  Albany County School District One may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions thereof, and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to select the bid which best meets the needs of the school district.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF CONTRACT & FINAL PAYMENT

 

To all persons, firms, or corporations who have any claim for any work done or materials furnished to Hamaker Excavation, Inc. of Laramie, Wyoming (the Contractor) for the Lake Hattie Outlet Works Rehabilitation Project (hereinafter Project) at the Lake Hattie dam and reservoir in Albany County, Wyoming.

 

You are hereby notified that the Pioneer Canal-Lake Hattie Irrigation District (the Owner) has accepted substantial completion according to the contract documents and the rules and terms of the contract between the Owner and Contractor.  The work in connection with the Project is completed, and the Contractor is therefore entitled to final settlement and payment under the contract.

 

You are further notified that on or after the 25th day of February, 2015, being the forty-first (41st) day after the first publication of this notice, the Owner will pay the Contractor the full amount due under the contract; and in the event your claim is not filed with and received by the Owner at the Post Office Box address shown below, prior to the 25th day of February, 2015, the claim shall be waived as against the Owner and the Project.

 

Nothing in this notice and the approval of final payment by the Owner shall be construed as relieving the Contractor and the Sureties on its bond from any claim or claims for labor and materials furnished in the execution of the contract and construction of the Project, nor shall it have the effect of relieving the Contractor, its agents, subcontractors and material suppliers from the warranties and guaranties set forth in the contract between Owner and Contractor.  This notice is given pursuant to Sections 16-6-116 and 16-6-117 of the Wyoming Statutes.

   Notice is hereby given that the Town of Rock River WY will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of one (1) 4WD extended cab or crew cab diesel pickup truck until  Friday, January 30, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. local time at Rock River City Hall, 321 Ave. D, Rock River WY. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 7:00 pm at the regular February 2, 2015 meeting of the town council. 

Specifications are as follows: 1 (one) ton suspension, turbo diesel engine, automatic transmission, 4 wheel drive (prefer manual linkage for engagement) , extended or crew cab, flat bed with goose neck hitch (8 foot bed preferable), tow package with trailer brake controller, basic interior package. FOB 321 Ave D, Rock River WY. Any deviation from the specifications must be clearly called to the attention of the Owner in the submitted bid.  The Owner reserves the right to consider any deviations listed and if deemed in the best interest of the Owner can accept the deviations listed. However, under no circumstances is the Owner obligated to accept the low bid if it contains deviations that are not acceptable.  Bidders should clearly understand and accept that deviations may cause their bid to be rejected regardless of price. 

   Envelopes containing bids shall be sealed and clearly marked with the name of the bid and shall show the name, address and telephone number of the bidder. Bids not prepared in accordance with this notice may be rejected. The town reserves the right to reject any and all bids plus the right to waive irregularities in bids received.
