You are hereby notified that on January 22, 2015, BRANDI JOHNSON and JOSHUA JONES as Claiming Distributees and as the intestate heirs of JERRY L. Beginning at a point which the East quarter corner of Section 17 bears North 37°38' East,

a distance of 1,678.50 feet; thence North 88°31' West, a distance of 275.2 feet; thence

South 00°11' West, a distance of 65.05 feet; thence South 88°31' East, a distance of 275.2 feet; thence North 00°11' East, a distance of 65.05 feet to a point of beginning, commonly known as 4717 Ft. Sanders Road, Laramie, Wyoming 82070.

 

Claiming Distributees have alleged that the Decedent owned said real property; that he died intestate on June 7, 2012, a resident of Laramie, Albany County, Wyoming; that no application for the appointment of a personal representative is pending or has been granted in any jurisdiction in this state; that the date of death fair market value of the property, less liens and encumbrances, is less than $200,000.00; that they are entitled to a Decree of Distribution under Section 2-1-205 of the Wyoming Statutes (2013); and that no other person would be entitled to the Decedent's property under probate proceedings.

 

If the alleged facts are not disputed, the District Court shall, upon completion of publication of this Notice, consider the Application and enter its Decree establishing the Claiming Distributees' right and title to the said property. Anyone disputing the alleged facts or otherwise objecting should file written objections with the Clerk of the District Court, Albany County Courthouse, Laramie, Wyoming, within two weeks from the date of first publication of this Notice, on or before February 10, 2015.

CEP Well #1 Completion Project

 

Notice is hereby given that the Trustees of the University of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyoming hereafter referred to as the "Owner" will receive sealed bids in Conference Room 130 of the Service Building, University of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyoming 82071, up to but no later than February 17, 2015, at 2:00 PM (Mountain Standard Time) for possible award of the contract for construction for the CEP Well #1 Completion Project.

 

Bids will be received by Owner and will be publicly read aloud at the stated time.  Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents.  The Owner invites bids as follows and as hereinafter described:

 

A Lump sum bid for providing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to perform all work to complete the project as shown on the Drawings and as outlined in the Specifications.  The work includes constructing an irrigation well pump station, complete with submersible pump and motor, pitless adapter, power, motor controls, electrical equipment, valves, piping and a building.

 

Each base bid over $150,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, executed by the Bidder, as Principle, and a satisfactory surety company, executed in favor of the Owner in the amount of 5% of the maximum amount of the bid.  Bid Bond shall be accompanied by a certified copy of Power of Attorney, and be signed or countersigned by an agent of the bonding company.  No other form of Bid surety will be accepted.

 

Preference shall be given to Wyoming contractors, subcontractors, laborers and suppliers as required by Chapter Six, "Public Property", of the Wyoming Statutes (W.S. Section 16-6-101 et. seq.).  Attention is called to the provisions of W.S. Section 16-6-103 with respect to subcontracting by a successful resident bidder.  Attention is also called to the provisions of W.S. Section 16-6-203 requiring resident labor in the project.  Bids must anticipate compliance with the Wyoming Prevailing Wage Act of 1967 (W.S. Section 27-4-401, et. seq.) and the prevailing wage rates in effect at bid date.

 

The Owner reserves the privilege of rejecting any or all bids, or waiving any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding.

 

The Owner will have the right to retain the bid security of Bidders until (a) the Contract has been executed and bonds, as required, have been furnished; or (b) the specified time has elapsed so that Bids may be withdrawn; or (c) all Bids have been rejected.  The work shall commence upon receipt of a written "Notice to Proceed."  Work Shall Be Substantially Complete by June 30, 2015.

 

A non-mandatory, pre-bid site visit will be held on February 3, 2015, at 10 AM MST at the Service Building Conference Room 130.  The Service Building is located on the northwest corner15th & Lewis streets.

The University of Wyoming requests your response of qualifications to provide Architectural/Engineering services for a project, Rochelle Athletic Center Addition, to add new football strength and conditioning, football locker room, training table, commercial kitchen, and academic center facilities; and to renovate new sports medicine and team meeting room facilities in the existing Rochelle Athletic Center (RAC) in the central campus zone of the University of Wyoming campus in Laramie, Wyoming. The existing RAC is approximately 48,100 square feet in area. The addition is proposed to be approximately 78,100 square feet and will provide a modern state-of-the art facility that will expand the holistic approach to the development of the student-athlete. The total project budget is $44,000,000.00. 

 

The existing campus utility and central plant facilities will be utilized to support the new facility. A silver equivalent LEED rating with alternative energy and systems approaches to sustainability will be a required with all applicable analyses. The building design will incorporate the campus materials palette and design guidelines. The University will likely utilize the construction manager-at-risk delivery method.

Geotechnical Engineering Services will include, but are not limited to, subsurface exploration, foundation recommendations, soils analysis, fill material recommendations, groundwater and controls, surface irrigation recommendations, utility trench recommendations, paving recommendations, seismic classification, settlement potential, controls, and electronic documentation. The preliminary report, including electronic format, shall be completed on or before April 15, 2015.

"              Types of testing services provided, penetration, pressure or other tests

The University reserves the right to rank respondents and select firm or firm(s) for services based upon the qualification response without interviews. Criteria for selecting a firm will include Wyoming residency. If reasonable compensation cannot be negotiated with the first-ranked firm, then negotiations will be terminated. Negotiations will then begin with the second-ranked firm, then the third-ranked firm, if necessary.
