Notice is hereby given that the Developmental Preschool and Daycare Center and Spiegelberg Lumber and Building Co., DB/CMAR, Laramie, Wyoming, hereafter referred to as the "CMAR" will receive sealed bids, faxed or emailed until 2:00 pm local time, Thursday, February 12, 2015 at which time bids will be opened, at 1771 Centennial Drive, Suite 220 Laramie WY, for all cost related to:

 

Developmental Pre-School And Daycare Center/EHDI Tenant Finish

 

All interested bidders must pre-qualify for the individual Trade Packages.

 

Fire Line & Excavation, Framing and Insulating, Finish Carpentry, Hollow Metal, Hardware, Wood Doors, Gypsum Board and Repair, Acoustical Panel Ceiling, Flooring, Joint Sealants, Fire Sprinkler, Mechanical and Electrical.

 

Bids hand delivered must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the statement thereon "BID ENCLOSED: Developmental Pre-School and Day Care Center/EHDI Tenant Finish".  Such bids must be submitted on a Bid Form supplied by the CMAR.  Bids may be submitted via email, franks@spiegelberglbr.com, fax 307-745-5330 or delivered to 259 West Fremont Street or 1771 Centennial Drive, Suite 220, Laramie, WY prior to the above stated Big Opening date and time.  Bids will be opened publicly, read aloud, and tabulated by the CMAR at the time of opening, at 1771 Centennial Drive Suite 220.  Bids may be withdrawn prior to the Bid Opening; however, unless otherwise specified, all formal bids submitted shall be binding for forty-five (45) days following Bid Opening.  Bids, which are not prepared and filed in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, may be rejected.  Albany County shall award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder complying with all provisions of the Instructions to Bidders, provided the bid price is reasonable and is in the best interest of Albany County to accept.  Albany County reserves the right to cancel this Advertisement to Bid or reject any or all bids and the right to waive any irregularities or technicalities in the bidding.  Any bids received after the time specified, as stated above, will not be considered.

 

A complete set of Bidding documents, including specifications, may be obtained after Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the office of Spiegelberg Lumber & Building Company, 259 West Fremont Street, Laramie, WY  82072, 307-742-6651 phone.

 

Potential subcontractors and suppliers are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference and walk through visit at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the project.  The dimensions and features of the project as shown on the plans and detailed are to be verified by all Contractors prior to bidding.  Failure to verify actual dimensions and features of the work during the pre-bid period will not relieve any subcontractor of their responsibility to fully comply with and complete requirements of the Contract Documents.

 

This is a federally funded project that is subject to compliance with Davis Bacon Wage Determinations and Federal Labor Standards. The prevailing wage must be paid to each class of worker at the site. Since this is federal funding, 5% preference will not be granted to Wyoming Contractors, Subcontractors, laborers, and materials, supplies, equipment, machines, supplies, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, as required by W.S. 16-1-101 et seq.  The Contractor who is awarded the bid will be required to comply with the Wyoming Preference Wyoming Statute 16-6-203 which states, "Every person who is charged with the duty of construction, reconstructing, improving, enlarging, altering or repairing any public works project or improvement for the state or any political subdivision, municipal corporation, or other governmental unit, shall employ only Wyoming laborers on the project or improvement. Every contract let by any person shall contain a provision requiring that Wyoming labor be used except other laborers may be used when Wyoming laborers are not available for the employment from within the state or are not qualified to perform the work involved. A person required to employ Wyoming laborers may employ other than Wyoming laborers if that person informs the nearest state employment office of his employment needs and the state employment office certifies that the person's need for laborers cannot be filled from those listed as of the date the information is filed."

   Notice is hereby given that the Town of Rock River WY will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of one (1) 4WD extended cab or crew cab diesel pickup truck until  Friday, January 30, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. local time at Rock River City Hall, 321 Ave. D, Rock River WY. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 7:00 pm at the regular February 2, 2015 meeting of the town council. 

Specifications are as follows: 1 (one) ton suspension, turbo diesel engine, automatic transmission, 4 wheel drive (prefer manual linkage for engagement) , extended or crew cab, flat bed with goose neck hitch (8 foot bed preferable), tow package with trailer brake controller, basic interior package. FOB 321 Ave D, Rock River WY. Any deviation from the specifications must be clearly called to the attention of the Owner in the submitted bid.  The Owner reserves the right to consider any deviations listed and if deemed in the best interest of the Owner can accept the deviations listed. However, under no circumstances is the Owner obligated to accept the low bid if it contains deviations that are not acceptable.  Bidders should clearly understand and accept that deviations may cause their bid to be rejected regardless of price.

Bids must be received at the Albany County School District #1, 1948 Grand Avenue, Laramie, WY  82070 no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, February 26th, 2015. Such Bids will be received by Albany County School District #1 and will be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time.

 

Bids must be hand delivered or mailed and enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Albany County School District #1 with attention to Ed Goetz.
